Reminiscing Theme Nights: Coraline

I recently started thinking back on the theme nights I began to hold for my friends and I.(If you’re interested, you can find the blog here: )

So I figured I would talk about all of the ones I held so far! Today I would like to look back on our Coraline theme night ✮⋆˙

Coraline Theme Night

For the fall season, I felt that Coraline was really fitting! It is a book and film I thoroughly enjoy, and it had the perfect meal to recreate!

The Menu

The inspiration for this meal was the Other Mother’s spread created for Coraline on one of her visits. I felt like this meal was perfect for the fall, with comforting foods~ Here is the menu:

• Baked chicken (instead of a turkey)

• Mashed potatoes 

• Peas

• Corn on the cob

• Dinner rolls

• Soup

• Welcome Home cake

• Variety of juices

Everyone came dressed in comfy clothes, since I felt fall time is just cozy overall! We star

ted with dinner before enjoying a viewing of the film! For some, it was a first time viewing ˶ᵔᗜ ᵔ˶

It was a nice, relaxing evening with good food and good company. 

This was definitely one of my favorite nights, and I look back on it fondly!
